We went to “Touratech” in Niedereschach in the Black Forest to find out about and purchase suitable suspension.
Spontaneously, we also treated ourselves to new boots.
Of course, we also had a delicious meal at the end 😉
We were finally able to get Alex his AT from the workshop.
Now with newly honed cylinders and reground valve seats, the engine runs like new again.
The clutch and radiator were also replaced.

Now Alex could get to work on converting the chassis. When dismantling the standpipes, he discovered that they had been tinkered with before. The threads for the mudguard attachment had been cut too far, so that they almost came out inside the stanchions.
To be able to continue, we got a set of new/used ones.
