Once again, we’re taking you on a walk.
Too bad we don’t know much about mushrooms, I’m sure there are some edible ones.
This is an octopus mushroom. There are no known toxins. However, due to its allegedly unpleasant taste and musty smell, it is not recommended as an edible mushroom.
Today we tested a different way of preparing chestnuts. Boil them in water with vegetable stock and peel them the next day. We wanted to test how they peel when they are cold. It went surprisingly well and the chestnuts don’t fall apart like that. Roughly like potatoes. The next day, we peeled them and roasted them in a pan, seasoning them with coarse sea salt. Also very tasty but a little more time-consuming.
It was a really, really great pitch. However, the many trees made it very difficult to charge the photovoltaics. To finally be able to use the electricity properly again, we decided to drive on today.
But before we can set off, Alex first has to solve a small problem. This morning we discovered that our fresh water tank had leaked. But Alex was able to find the problem quickly.
A screw had come loose.
Once the screw was fixed, we refilled our fresh water tank and were able to set off for our next destination.
Stopover for shopping
After about 120km, we arrive at today’s parking space.
Between the police on one side and the church on the other, we are certainly safe.
