This week it was time for the beach and the sea again. Although it was quite windy, the sea was very calm.

It’s always nice to just let your gaze wander over the horizon and when you have the beach almost to yourself, you enjoy it twice as much.

Iris’ aim was to have everything painted by the time her parents come to visit us here at the camper park in Portugal in March. So this week we painted the outside wall and the entrance door gray. Iris had a great idea to give the not-so-nice blackout blinds a coat of gray paint as well.
Everything now looks much friendlier.

Iris has achieved her goal. Now everything in the living area has been painted. At some point, we want to spruce up the bathroom and when Alex has finished converting the bunk beds, this room will also be color-coordinated.

On Thursday, a day earlier than expected, Iris’ parents arrived. The joy was great. Once the caravan was parked, we had coffee and Portuguese cakes. We will certainly have a lot of fun together over the next few weeks and really enjoy it.
