On our last day here in this beautiful place, we were so cold in the morning that we tested our heating.
We have two heaters in the camper. One at the back by the bathroom and one in the dining room/living area. We turned these on and it got nice and warm. As soon as the sun made it over the trees, it was also warm outside and it was still a really sunny day.
It’s still between 9 and 12 degrees here at night. During the day it’s up to 27 degrees again.
Alex has found a nice place for his fishing rod. It’s tidy and always ready to hand.
Apart from that, we treated ourselves to a day at the beach today.
The next morning, we continued our journey for almost 90 km.
We went shopping just before our destination for the day. That should last us quite a while now.
In the afternoon we arrived at the pitch in Ferrol, where we will stay for one night.
Whatever it is, however it got into this dust box from WENNE.
In any case, this thing is pretty disgusting.
Somehow today was a crazy day. On our short route here, we saw a serious accident. A car was upside down in the middle of a town, with foam from the fire engine everywhere. It was a bit strange how the car managed to get to this spot. It was a stone wall throughout. Above it was a meadow with bushes and that’s where the car was upside down. I have no idea how you manage something like that. It also didn’t look as if the vehicle could have come from above. Hopefully nothing happened to the person or persons.
On the pitch next to us is a vehicle that doesn’t appear to be a camper van. The man in this vehicle seems very strange. As if he has two personalities. When he is not talking loudly to himself in various ways, he is whistling, humming or singing Spanish songs.
Then there were the dogs. Suddenly there was a lot of howling and barking in front of our camper, it almost gave me goose bumps. Then there was a woman who was hysterically shouting something in Spanish and wouldn’t stop. Suddenly there was quite a crowd. People on phones and two dogs (no idea what breed they were, about the size of a German shepherd), one was being held by a man and the other was lying on the ground the whole time. We couldn’t see from the camper what exactly had happened. After a while, the woman who had been screaming drove off with the two dogs and a few other people in a red car.
When we wanted to make ourselves comfortable after dinner, we heard loud music. Good music, rock music. The large parking lot behind us suddenly filled up quickly and there was a huge crowd of people around us. We had a look around and it quickly became clear that there was a soccer match on today and our pitch was right next to the stadium 🙂 All the vehicles that weren’t campers and were parked in the camper parking spaces, including the one parked next to us, which actually had no room to get out without banging its door against us, were diligently handed out parking tickets.
It was really busy here, not a trace of boredom.
