Our friends from East Frisia celebrated their first anniversary this week. One year on the road in their motorhome. To celebrate, Iris went out and picked some flowers. Of course, there was also a bouquet of flowers for us.
A bunch of wild flowers is wonderful 🙂
After it turned out that Mr. A., our new friend, had to move to the pitch, Alex naturally helped him. He was still unable to drive his motorhome and car due to his injury. They both had a lot of fun with the remote-controlled car trailer 😉 At a speed of 9 meters per minute, it only took a little longer until he was finally standing on his new spot.
In the afternoon, we went shopping again with Mr. A. and his convertible.
Mr. W. and his wife have also become really good friends in the meantime. He is also always building and tinkering and took us to the DIY store and the camper store in his pickup truck so that we could easily transport the large parts we needed to convert the bunk beds.
Due to a farewell party of his pitch friend, Mr. W. was not quite fit to drive in the morning and so Alex was happy to drive the pickup.
After 2 hours at the DIY store, we had found pretty much everything we needed.
In the evening, we were invited to dinner with our East Frisian friends. The four of us had a small party because it was Kirsten’s birthday.
Once again, it was a wonderful evening and our surprise, the birthday cake, was very well received.
Due to his injury, Mr. A. finally went to the doctor after repeated urging from us and unfortunately had to go back to Germany for health reasons. We wish him all the best and hope to see him healthy again next year here at the Camper Park.
