An afternoon at the beach. The Atlantic is still a bit chilly, but Iris and her dad are still having fun.

In the middle of the week, we had a visit from our junior and Alex’s brother for a few days.

They were both allowed to spend the night in the tent meadow. However, our son often fell asleep on our “sofa” and spent the night there.

The stand with the last bratwurst before America has recently reopened. Of course, we took advantage of this right away.

We also visited the beach sections that are within walking distance of our camper park with the two of them. Can you see our junior climbing over the rocks in the second picture? Some things never change, even as a little boy he had to climb up everywhere and explore everything 🙂

We told them about the beautiful little stretch of beach where you can only get there on foot. About the beautiful rock with the hole… It’s a good thing we had photos to prove it, because otherwise nobody would have believed that there was such a rock here. It’s unbelievable how the sand can change so quickly due to the power of the sea.

In the evening we had a delicious pizza 😉

Of course, there was also time for a short trip to Lagos, including a visit to the fortress. The beach in Lagos and a walk around the harbor.

Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t quite as nice and there was a hint of Saharan dust in the air. As a result, the nearby cliffs of Ponta da Piedade were very interesting and great to look at, but the beautiful panoramic view didn’t materialize.

We spent the last few days at the MotoGP race in Portimao.
It was a wonderful week that we were able to spend with our loved ones. Unfortunately, time went by far too quickly once again.
