After breakfast today, work started for us at 8:30 am. Alex first had to take care of the water system, it was leaking in various places.
I was busy in the house. I mopped the floor, tidied up a bit, hung up and took down the washing, checked with Hanne for various plants to see whether they needed watering or not and weeded.
I had to help feed the chickens and clean the water containers.
After Alex couldn’t do his job because he was supposed to drill holes in metal poles for a windbreak on the storage tent, but there were no suitable drill bits, he helped me a bit in the garden and put up an insect house behind the chicken coop.
And since we still found 2 drill bits, we drilled at least a few holes together in the evening.
We managed to drill a few holes in the bars before both drill bits broke.
Good tools could be helpful for better results.
The windbreak should be finished today, but Hanne can’t get new drill bits until tomorrow.
So we finally called it a day at half past 5.
