Today we had a pretty relaxed ride on our 60 km journey to our destination. We were able to bypass the larger towns and we drove along the coast for a while.
In the café “O Duna” in the village right next to the parking lot you have to buy a token for 2.50 euros. This can be used for either 100 liters of fresh water or 1 hour of electricity.
The sea is currently very choppy and the waves are raging. The weather forecast for the next few days in this region of Portugal is a little worse. We’ll let ourselves be surprised, as the forecast for today has fortunately not materialized so far.
Another beautiful stretch of beach. Ideal for kitesurfing, bodyboard surfing or long walks.
“COLLECT MOMENTS, NOT THINGS”
Apart from that, there is nothing else in this village apart from two overpriced restaurants/cafe.
Do you remember yesterday’s post? We tried this traditional Portuguese dessert today and have to admit, it’s a heavenly sweet treat that’s sure to make your waistline swell 😉 Very tasty!
We take advantage of what is probably the last nice weather for the time being to go for a walk on the beach.
So nice to have the whole beach to ourselves.
We only came across a few anglers on the rocky outcrop. Alex took advantage of the situation and the nice gentleman actually gave him a few fishing tips.
The sea is very choppy today.
The waves are raging.
So beautiful 🙂
Just enjoy, switch off and let your mind wander.
An hour-long walk on the beach is a good leg workout.
I could do it every day.
