Between Mojacar and Orgiva, we had to stop here shortly after setting off in the morning to take in the beautiful view.
As we drove on, we suddenly noticed a totally intense, sweet smell. It was immediately clear that it smelled of strawberries.
Shortly before Almeria until shortly after, you can see these white greenhouses everywhere in the towns, outside and on the mountains. Vegetables and fruit are grown in them.
As you can’t see it well enough in the photo, we’ve taken a section from Google Maps.Everything that looks like white roofs are greenhouses.
It’s actually not very nice to look at.
In Salobrena we were finally able to order the seal kit for the brake fluid reservoir from a Honda dealer. We can pick it up on Monday.
We arranged a meeting point with our host Hanne. Before that, we took a short break and wondered whether it was snow up on the mountains? Can you recognize it too?
At 4 p.m. we met Hanne at the agreed meeting point and had to go straight to a timber store with her to get wood for shelves and a worktop for a kitchen 🙁
Not so much fun in full motorcycle gear and in the heat to load the boards and worktop onto the pickup.
Afterwards I went to the supermarket with her, I thought she was doing a bulk purchase. She had so much to get.

In the meantime, Alex had to go to the DIY store next door to get a few things.
Exhausted, we were looking forward to the drive to Hanne’s house too soon, because she still wanted to go to the nursery.
After 3 hours, we finally drove “home”.
Because that wasn’t enough, I had a bad fall on the last bend, right on Hanne’s property.
So that you don’t misunderstand the picture. Alex only helps the AT back on its wheels. The fact that the tank is almost empty doesn’t make things any easier, however, as the rear part had somehow become wedged in the soil and stones.
Unfortunately, not only did I slightly sprain my arm, but the blinker was also broken off, the luggage holder was bent and the holder for the additional headlights didn’t like the fall at all.
Hanne had made us all a little something to eat, which was very sweet of her. While we were still desperately and exhaustedly trying to set up my bike, she called us at least three times to eat. We were a little annoyed by the stress she made us feel. It was still light and we would have preferred to just lie down. We weren’t hungry anyway. But we ate out of politeness. When it was already dark, Hanne told us where we were staying for the night. In a tent that was far too small and where we couldn’t even stretch out. As we hadn’t had a chance to look around and were completely exhausted, it was a bit difficult to find our way to the tent and inside the tent itself in the dark. Alex slipped into the tent in his full motorcycle gear and I had at least taken off my pants, jacket and shoes and slept in my functional underwear.
Great, good night 😉
