Today we took the bus to Malaga and had a look at the large market hall.
There are all kinds of delicacies there. Various fish & seafood, meat, sausage and cheese, fruit & vegetables, dried or fresh, delicious smelling herbs.
Everything you can buy here is also available to eat straight away.
On the way back to the bus, we passed some great places again.
We are still amazed by the tiled floors in the old town.
And even more treats. I wonder how long the popcorn would last 😉
We have never seen this parcel service like this before 🙂
When we were just about to finish work, we saw this water that shouldn’t be there at all.
The problem must be that tank back there.
So we went in search of how we could get to this tank to look more closely for the culprit.
The problem was quickly found.
So we made a video call with the host to clarify how we could get things under control again.
The part is broken and needs to be replaced. So Alex should get a new one aber☝️ not another piece of crap made of plastic, said our host. Finally someone who values good materials, like Alex does.
So we got a new brass connection, the perfect choice.
In the evening, Alex had a fish burger and I had a pizza.
And because we don’t have an oven, we had pizza from the pan today.
Until yesterday, we’d only ever been in contact with our host via WhatsApp.
Because of the dripping water tank, Alex spoke to him in person for the first time. Via WhatsApp video chat.
The contact was very positive. First of all, Alex was very relieved that we could communicate in German. That makes it a bit easier. Unfortunately, our English isn’t that good yet. In addition, our host is a pleasant person, at least on the phone. We are really looking forward to finally meeting him in person on May 29.
He was noticeably relieved when Alex told him that he could probably fix the problem with the water tank. At the end of the phone call, our host offered us the chance to move into the guest apartment, as it will be empty for the next few weeks and we can’t sleep very well in the small bed (136×180) with this much too soft, saggy spring mattress.
Of course we accepted the offer.
Hopefully he’ll be just as happy with the garden maintenance as he is with Alex’s handyman skills.
After a thorough clean yesterday and today, nothing stood in the way of the move in the afternoon.
