Let’s go. We go on a hike to Banjo de Vilo.

First we hike through the olive groves.
This path was very muddy.

At some point we arrived back on paved ground. The route took us through two mini villages. All the people here are very nice. They waved to us and everyone greeted us.

We passed so many different plant species.
Including pomegranate, pear, apple and citrus trees.

We arrived at Banjo de Vilo, a sulphur spa that is over 800 years old.
The water temperature is 21 degrees in both summer and winter. This beautiful place is open to the public all year round. There is a changing room, so you can take a sulphur bath at any time. It’s not only supposed to be very healthy for the skin.
When we got there, a man was sitting relaxed in the water. He told us that he comes here regularly to bathe. He loves this place, the peace and quiet, the beauty. He finds it romantic here and is happy to accept the 40 km drive to get here.
Personally, the water was too cold for us and the smell of sulphur took some getting used to.

Of course, you have to take a break in between.
It was cloudy today and just under 23 degrees. We had a lovely hike.
