Not much interesting has really happened in the last few days.
On Sunday, we went on a short motorcycle tour.
We drove off without a plan. Sometimes right, sometimes left, then straight on again. Into the mountains and also into small mountain villages, like this one on the video. The driver of the white car in front of us actually wanted to park there. Unfortunately, due to the narrow road, he had to drive on as we couldn’t even get past him on the motorcycle.
Suddenly it went downhill, we estimate 25/30% gradient (no joke). I was very glad that we were only on one motorcycle. Especially when the road suddenly stopped. It was a challenge to turn the bike around on this gradient and narrow road. I dismounted to make it easier for Alex. It’s very difficult to stop on such steep hills, so I only got back on when Alex was able to park the bike comfortably on a straight stretch of road. It was quite exhausting in the heat to walk up there in my clothes 😉 As I was still gasping for breath and had a drink, another biker came up to us on his Kawasaki. He was surprised that we had turned around. After we explained the situation to him, he also changed his route :-0
That was enough adventure for the day and we continued on “normal” roads.
