Today we went to Euromaster.
Now that we had tried everything to get a suitable tire, neither the garage had one or could get one anywhere, it was absolutely not possible to have one delivered to France, nor could the ADAC help us, we carefully continued on our way to Spain. In Spain, we had already found a few tire dealers online who would also have a tire for us. We are now hoping for the best. We have about 700/800 km to go.
Today’s journey was very much straight ahead. All around us nothing but wide open spaces. A beautiful view, meadows, fields, animals. Although it feels like everything looks the same for miles on end, we haven’t had our fill yet.
In between, we passed through villages and small towns. Here, too, there was only one straight road, right in between.
A very beautiful route. Also a bit adventurous.
We chug through the area at 70 h/km. It’s actually very pleasant. You can take it easy and usually drive alone.
Before we arrived at our parking space between Limoges and Bordeaux today, the route was also very interesting for the last few kilometers with our WENNE. Every now and then there was a ban on driving through for vehicles over 5 tons.
But it’s unbelievable that roads like this one can be driven on with up to 19 tons. Sometimes a bus came towards us :-0 Even more interesting when there are trees to the right and left.
We managed to find a wonderful, free parking space in the small town of Angouleme. In the middle of the green and right next to a church.
And now that we have spent a long time in France and are driving right through the middle, from east to west. We were able to enjoy the beauty of nature and had a lot of contact with the locals due to our tire problem, so we think our WENNE deserves a French souvenir 😉
