After we had some time today, after watering, weeding and sweeping of course, Alex spruced up two chairs.
In the meantime, I took care of the other chairs.
Unfortunately, as long as we are with the host here in Malaga, there is not much exciting news to report. The work is always the same. After work, it depends on what we want to do. There’s not much to report from the beach, we just chill out there.
Shopping isn’t interesting either and not much else happens during the week. Maybe we can report something interesting at the weekend.
In any case, a big thank you to all of you, thank you for being so diligent and regular on our trip and thank you for the kind, encouraging and praising messages that reach us from time to time.
Feel warmly hugged by us.
Alex not only planted the peppers and chilies this morning, but also these loofah cucumbers and built them a climbing aid.
Luffa cucumbers are very interesting, so if we ever have a garden or something similar again, they will definitely be planted.
This particular variety of cucumber is also known as the sponge cucumber. They can only be eaten when young. The fully-grown cucumbers are dried, then peeled and cut into various sizes. They can be used as a peeling or shower sponge. In the kitchen for rinsing or in the household for cleaning. They are very versatile and can even be washed at 30° in the washing machine.
We set off for El Palo at midday.
We need new brake pads for our adventure to Seville. We ordered them straight away from this little bike store and we can pick them up tomorrow.
We stayed at the rocks for quite a long time and talked about our next steps after Seville.
We’re off to Africa, Morocco. We’ll tell you in detail another time why we’re already going there and changing our previous itinerary.
Many years ago, this train ran through the villages in the area. Now it is retired here in El Palo.
