After Alex had helped friends with their problem with the camper van, a few fellow campers joined us. These spontaneous get-togethers are so nice and nobody minds if we have a drink at lunchtime. Spontaneous situations like this are just great!

Unfortunately, with my sprained foot, I still can’t go for walks in the uneven countryside around here. So we spent the rest of the day lounging around the motorhome, making plans for next year and welcoming new friends.
Once a year, the long-time long-timers from the site and some who now live in Portugal on their own property get together for a wild boar dinner. New good friends are also welcome to come along and so we were invited to join them again this year. There were 28 of us in total. A very sociable group. We had a really nice day and made some nice new friends.

Back at the camper, we rounded off the evening in a convivial atmosphere.

The mood on the campsite was a little sombre at the beginning of the week as a new member of staff was brought in at reception. We are all still very angry and sad about the incomprehensible dismissal of Ms. A and simply can’t understand it. But that’s the way it is, you can’t control the moods of others.
The new man at reception certainly seems to make a nice impression so far.
At the end of the week, my friend Mrs. K. gave me a really great present. A lampshade that you can put on a full or empty bottle. With USB for charging and dimmable. The evenings in the WENNE are really cozy with our new heater, this great lamp, some music and something delicious to drink. Many, many, many thanks for this 🙂

We have now also completed our washbasin. For the time being, that is. Unfortunately, we had to realize that we were very optimistic with this small washbasin. The morning and evening routines are proving more difficult than expected. So we have to optimize it again. As this washbasin “only” cost us 20 euros in total, we are now considering whether we should completely rework it or find another solution. However, we’re going to look more closely at this issue first, as we want everything to fit and not have to rework it again.

It’s been almost two weeks since I sprained my foot. At the end of the week, we went for a longer walk after all. It was wonderful!
We were even able to watch dolphins. What an experience. Unfortunately we don’t have any photos of it.
The sun was really warm and the sea was incredibly beautiful. We really enjoyed the trip and are infinitely grateful that we were given the opportunity to live such a beautiful and adventurous life and visit such beautiful places.
