01.08.-12.08.2023 “At home” Germany

The last few days we have been busy working in the camper. After days of laborious work, we managed to remove this tapestry in the sleeping area. When our bones are already aching from working in the alcove, constantly bent over, we need a change from time to time, in a non-bent over position, of which there is plenty. There’s still plenty of cleaning to be done, the insect screens to be brought up to scratch, the electrics have been a bit adventurously connected. Alex took it on once when he was still installing USB connections.
In the meantime, we have already bought and ordered various tools, work materials and other inventory. As soon as the felt for the alcove is delivered, the work in the sleeping area will continue. We have already bought some of the material, but we will only carry out further embellishments step by step on the way. On the 14th we go to the TÜV. We would also like to do a few private things from Germany.
Let’s see if we manage to start our adventure again in the middle or end of August.

We have now also been able to sell Iris AT.
Alex has also put a lot of heart and soul into it. We had a lot of fun with both motorcycles, many wonderful and sometimes chaotic moments. The sale of both bikes was a bit difficult for us. The history of the ATs contains many wonderful memories, experiences and adventures that we were able to experience with them.

The outside of our “WENNE” has also been given a facelift.

A sticker from the ShishaWarenTester (Shishaforever.de) on the front.

cOf course there are also “2hearts1adventure” stickers. Once on the side and once on the back and a few small stickers all around.

We also like to take the great western and country music of the country band “Arizona Crossroads” with us on our adventure.

We use every spare minute to spruce up our “WENNE”. When we’re finished, it will certainly look great. We are happy every time we take another step forward and can see an amazing difference from before.
