At the beginning of April, we had a visit from our youngest daughter and her boyfriend.
Unfortunately, they could only stay one night. We were delighted with our time together and enjoyed every second of it.
Two days later, it was time for Iris’ parents to start their journey home.
During the 5 weeks they were here with us, we had a lot of fun together. We were so happy that it worked out and that they made it all the way to Portugal with their caravan to our camper park.
We resumed our work on the WENNE on the same day. The roof box on the roof of the WENNE had long been a thorn in Alex’s side. So he removed it. We had stowed the cut-out for the passage between the living area and the driver’s cab in this box. You never know when you might need it, so Iris cleaned it so that the cut-out could be stored in our new “garage”.
We have also found a buyer for our roof box. So we don’t have to dispose of it and it is in good hands with our dear friend, Mr. W.
Mr. W. also helped us to get the solar panel onto our roof undamaged. A big thank you for that 🙂
We are delighted that everything worked out so well and that we are now one step closer to complete independence and living self-sufficiently in our camper.
